mabel, mabel...
very interesting fact: the name "mabel" is only one letter off from "amber" (and scrambled off course) and that's the girl's name for whom this apron was made...weird. i didn't even do that on purpose!
you picked a fine time to leave me lucille
lucille...
i was asked to make a pink apron, and i came up with this :)

"you are a sewing machine!" says Suzy...tis true!
cheers to collette!
*she's for sale on etsy
three gores and a funky pocket make up a really girly, cheery apron
there's a wocket in my pocket, oh wait, those are just some darling ruffles :)
clean seamed too!
buttons on each bottom corner
backsideAt last, my love has come along, my lonely days are over, and life is like a song
*nota bene: this is made of barkcloth from the 1940s...does that make etta a vintage piece?
precious pleats
ribbons galore! i like that i used two ribbons here...and they are only sewn together on the front of the apron, after that, they're on their own! adds some dimension i thought...etta is sold! but there's more where that came from if you'd like one out of that same awesome 1940s barkcloth!
and this one is MINE! haha. i have neglected myself throughout this apron journey,

calling all kates...
*kate*
while sewing this i had a special friend in mind. her name is kate, although i know her as katie, and we grew up on Windy Cove Drive together...i think since we were about two years old or so.
we were quite a team to say the least :)
